Recently, the program administrators and mentors safely met to discuss the future of IGMT. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the IGTM Board provided direction to cancel the 2020/2021 class. This the first year in the IGMT program’s history that a new group of participants is not beginning their training in the program.
This is a sad disappointment to all of us who are involved in IGMT, and look forward to a fresh group of aspiring managers to mentor and help guide each year. On a more positive note, while we are “off” this next class year, the IGMT team will be working hard to revamp and look at the program in a different light.
